Between June 19 and 21, the natural amphitheatre on the banks of the River Douro will be taken by storm by various aircraft.
According to a statement sent to Porto Secreto, the first edition of Air Invictus promises a vast program, covering the municipalities of Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Matosinhos and Maia. In all, around one million people are expected to attend the air show, which will be divided into 15 different points of interest.

Who is promoting this event?
This return of the air show to the Douro is the brainchildof Bravimaginação, but it has strong backing. To ensure that everything runs on wheels (and wings), the event is joining forces with the Ministry of Economy, the Portuguese Air Force and the Porto, Gaia, Matosinhos and Maia City Councils. This mega operation is also joined by entities such as Turismo de Portugal, the University of Porto and Civil Protection, ensuring that the first edition of Air Invictus is an unforgettable landmark in the region.
