For those looking to say goodbye to a sedentary lifestyle and improve their well-being, there is a free initiative taking place on Saturdays during the month of March: “Days with Energy”.
This municipal initiative offers yoga, pilates and tai chi classes in four pavilions in the city of Porto. After March, the sessions will once again embrace the good weather, taking place outdoors.
Where can you take advantage of the free classes?
According to the Porto City Council news portal, these are the venues included in the initiative:
- Pavilhão Fontes de Pereira de Melo | pilates at 9am, yoga at 10am and tai chi at 11am
- Pavilhão do Viso | tai chi at 9:30 a.m. and yoga at 11 a.m.
- Pavilhão do Lagarteiro | yoga at 9:30 a.m. and pilates at 11 a.m.
- Pêro Vaz de Caminha Pavilion | yoga at 10am
How can you take part?
Participation in the “Energy Days”, on Saturdays , March 8, 15, 22 and 29, is free. However, prior registration is required , by 5:30 p.m. each Friday, on the Sports Portal.
