The Italian-inspired gelateria that debuted in Lisbon in 2025 is opening its second location on June 23 at Rua de Santa Catarina, No. 273, just steps away from Via Catarina. To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 customers will receive free gelato, with a choice of two flavors.
Artisanal gelato with attitude
Brera was inspired by Milan’s most artistic and cool neighborhood and is part of the Plateform group. The concept is simple yet precise: to serve the essence of the best Italian artisanal gelato with a twist of attitude—or, as the brand itself puts it, “not just a gelateria, it’s an attitude.”
The gelato is handcrafted by Gelato Chef Tiago Themudo Barata, who prioritizes natural and seasonal ingredients while respecting the tradition of Italian artisanal gelato. It’s available in a cone, cup, or crepe, and the flavors change daily and are displayed on an illuminated menu that has already become one of the venue’s defining features.
The space: retro with a contemporary touch
The new Porto location features a contemporary take on a retro atmosphere. In addition to the usual stainless-steel counter, the space includes an indoor seating area and an outdoor terrace—features that make it even more appealing for the hot days ahead.
