Christmas is one of the most eagerly awaited and magical times of the year. To celebrate the festive season in a special way, there is an immersive and exclusive initiative that promises to bring the heart of the Clérigos Church to life :the “Immersive Clérigos Concert – Spiritus Natalis” cycle. Pay attention, though, as there are only six concerts scheduled and capacity is limited.
With music, art and light in motion, the initiative will be heard (and felt) for the first time this season on December 4, starting at 9pm. After that, there are other dates on December 11, 18, 26 and 27, and January 2, 2026. This is a unique opportunity to revisit some of the greatest Christmas classics on a sensory journey.

A success story
After the success of the first edition, the “Immersive Clérigos Concert – Spiritus Natalis” cycle is back to surprise Porto residents and visitors. Born from the universe of Spiritus, the multi-award-winning immersive show at the Clérigos Church, this event stands out for itsseasonal nature.
With 360º projections and a repertoire of Christmas classics performed live, including the spectacular organ pipe of the Clérigos Church, this is truly an experience not to be missed. It also has the seal of quality of the Ocubo creative studio and the Irmandade dos Clérigos , who jointly organize the cycle of immersive concerts.
What can you expect from the “Spiritus Natalis” cycle?

For those who enjoy immersive experiences, the “Immersive Clérigos Concert – Spiritus Natalis” are an original way to celebrate the Christmas season. For 45 minutes, a sensory journey takes you through unique interpretations of songs such as “Adeste Fidelis”, “The First Noel” and “Noite Feliz”, accompanied by surprising video mappingprojections.
Fabiana Magalhães (soprano), Rogério Monteiro (violin) and Rui Soares (organ) are joined by tenor Vítor Sousa (from the Casa da Música Choir and the Capella Duriensis vocal group). They are responsible for musically ‘leading’ this multidisciplinary combination of history and technology, in which one of the highlights is the iconic pipe organ of the Clérigos Church, where classical melodies by Bach, Vivaldi and others will echo .
What do they say about “Spiritus Natalis”?

Spiritus Natalis is the expression of what we are most looking for at this time of year: a reunion between art, encounter and emotion. We want every visitor to feel enveloped by the power of light and music, transforming the Clérigos Church into a place of inspiration and sharing,” says Edoardo Canessa, Executive Producer of the Ocubo studio.
For his part, António Tavares, Executive Director of the Irmandade dos Clérigos, reinforces “the commitment to offer Porto a Christmas that matches its soul“. To this end, he highlights the transformation of the temple “into a total experience of light, music and contemplation”.
Families, neighbors and visitors, national and international, have the opportunity to live a unique and memorable experience in our immersive concerts,” he adds.
