Porto is a city with a centuries-old history that deserves to be properly celebrated. That’s why, to mark the National Day of Historic Centers, Invicta is preparing to serve as the backdrop for three days of festivities, from March 28 to 30.
Under the coordination of Porto City Council and Ágora, a diverse program has been designed that includes museums, monuments, churches and other institutions.
From concerts to guided tours, not forgetting horseback riding, most of the more than 50 activities planned are free, but subject to prior registration. The aim is to reach audiences of all ages, including children.

Highlights of National Historic Centres Day
In a program full of initiatives, the full version of which can be consulted here, some of the highlights are the following activities:
- Concert by Ricardo Ribeiro, in Praça Parada Leitão, on Friday, March 28, at 7pm (free admission)
- Commented tours of the interior of the Clérigos Tower and Museum, between 10am and 11am, with a repeat from 4pm to 5pm, during the weekend, prior registration required here
- Performance by the Porto Historical Center Choir, at the Palácio das Artes, on Saturday, March 29, between 4pm and 5pm
- A program of baptisms and performances by the GNR Charanga a Cavalo, at the Quartel do Carmo, on March 29 and 30, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm, among others
