There are few things that beat a good playlist from the 2000s. Just put “Everybody ” by the Backstreet Boys on your headphones and life immediately seems simpler —and the world a little less heavy. And although, for now, we can’t go back to that era that sounded like“I Gotta Feeling ” by The Black Eyed Peas, we can always dance to it. That’s precisely why Neon Moves by THE BLACKOUTS is coming to Porto.
What is Neon Moves?
Neon Moves by THE BLACKOUTS is a 60-minute immersive dance show where technology and movement dance hand in hand. The dancers wear costumes with LED lights that turn on, turn off, and transform each choreography into a true game of visual illusions, always synchronized with the greatest hits of the 2000s and other timeless classics.
After winning over millions of viewers on Britain’s Got Talent, with two Golden Buzzers and an impressive 2nd place in 2025, THE BLACKOUTS will perform in Porto.
Why is music from the 2000s so iconic?
The 2000s gave us songs that stuck with us. They were the soundtracks to parties, road trips, evenings spent watching MTV, and choruses sung without shame. From pop to R&B, hip-hop to dance, they were songs made to move the body and lift the spirit — simple, energetic, and impossible to ignore. And maybe that’s why they still work so well today: because they make us feel light, even if only for three minutes.
It was also a decade in which the world became smaller. With the internet connecting everything and everyone, styles mixed, sounds crossed borders, and global hits were born that everyone recognizes at the first chord. It is this contagious mix that Neon Moves celebrates on stage, transforming nostalgia into movement, light, and pure energy — the kind that makes you want to dance, even while sitting down.
With breathtaking choreography, spectacular LED sets, and a soundtrack that marked a generation, Neon Moves by THE BLACKOUTS arrives as one of the most impressive shows of the season in Porto. And although the desire to relive the 2000s is immense, tickets are limited, so we recommend securing yours before they sell out.
