The weekend in Porto is expected to be warm for this time of year. According to the IPMA forecast updated this Friday morning, the high is expected to reach 26 °C on Saturday, October 17—more than 5 degrees above the city’s average monthly high of 20.7 °C, based on the institute’s climate norms for the Porto/Pedras Rubras station (1991–2020).

Is the rain back?
On Tuesday, the 20th, Porto is expected to reach a high of 17 °C, with high clouds. And starting Wednesday, the 21st, the weather may change: Meteored predicts that a front linked to a low-pressure system in the Atlantic will reach the country that day, and the Northwest—where Porto is located—is expected to be the first region to receive rain. Between October 23 and 24, a second front may move in through the same area.
These forecasts are made several days in advance, so the days and the amount of rain may still change. It’s worth keeping an eye on IPMA updates.
