That’s right, Primavera Sound Porto already has its sights set on 2027, which is the best news of the day for all those who can’t get enough of a festival featuring excellent music, lush greenery, and that hint of the Atlantic breeze.
Primavera Sound Porto: Why Is It a Unique Experience?
Unlike all the other massive festivals you know, the Portuguese version of Primavera Sound takes advantage of the more than 80 hectares of the country’s largest urban park.
At the same time, its proximity to the sea gives it a considerably more relaxed and refreshing atmosphere than, for example, its “older brother” in Barcelona.
Proof of this was the massive turnout at this year’s edition, which also managed to bring a touch of nostalgia to the event (the long-awaited return of The XX); charisma, through Gorillaz’s unique visual style; and exceptional talent, with performances by Massive Attack and IDLES.
