Traveling is one of the favorite activities of many of us, whether by car (with some incredible getaways near Porto), by train or even by plane. So, for those who like to discover new destinations, here’s some news: Ryanair has just announced four new air routes in Portugal, including Porto.
According to Diário de Notícias, the announcement was made this Thursday, September 18, by Ryanair’s CEO, Michael O’leary, in Lisbon.

According to the same source, the new routes planned for the winter originate in Porto, Faro (Algarve) and Madeira, with Lisbon being left out.
So, if you want to plan your getaway for the cold season, take note of the new air routes:
- Connections to Gothenburg (Sweden) and Warsaw (Poland) have been announced at Porto Airport
- Faro will have flights to Krakow (Poland)
- And Madeira will have a connection with Shannon (Ireland).
