The workers of the STCP – Sociedade de Transportes Coletivos do Porto are on strike from 00h00 this Monday (September 16) until 2h00 on Wednesday (September 18).
All in all, the strike will last 50 hours and could cause constraints for those who use public transport frequently. However, the minimum services have been decreed by the Arbitration Court.
Minimum services in STCP strike
According to information from STCP’s official website, these were the minimum services decreed during the strike period:
- Rede de Madrugada with a default of 100% of journeys
- During the daytime period minimum services are planned on the lines 200, 201, 204, 205, 207, 208 and 305
- In the night period these are the lines with minimum services: 200, 204, 205, 305, 502, 600, 602, 700, 701, 702, 801, 901, 903, 906 and 907
Watch out, this isn’t the only strike
According to the JN, this is not the only STCP strike. In fact, another will begin on September 18. However, this one only ends on November 17.
This is a stoppage that will be in force for a total of 60 days during the first five hours of service.
