The journey to the Jurassic world in the largest and greenest zoo in northern Portugal is about to end. The 4th edition of the well-known “Luzes Selvagens” (Wild Lights) at the Santo Inácio Zoo, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, will end on the last weekend of February, on February 28.
If you haven’t been there yet, this is your last chance to see more than 600 animal and plant figures up close . Among colors, sparkles, and shapes, this magical odyssey brought something new— illuminated dinosaurs.
What to visit at “Luzes Selvagens”?

Since its first edition, the immersive exhibition “Luzes Selvagens” has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors, surprising everyone with penguins, lions, giraffes, turtles, fish, and much more, as well as mythical figures from prehistory.
Here, you will find a route of more than a kilometer with countless attractions, such as the House of Nocturnal Animals and the Tropical World, as well as interactive games and luminous swings, in a truly Instagram-worthy experience.

The “Wild Lights” exhibition is open between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on weekends, holidays, and during the Carnival school holidays . Tickets can be purchased online or at the physical store.
