Pela primeira vez, o nosso País teve direito à realização da sua própria Gala do Guia Michelin. A cerimónia da entrega de prémios decorreu na noite de terça-feira, dia 27 de fevereiro. Ao todo, há agora oito restaurantes com duas estrelas Michelin em Portugal e 31 com uma estrela.
No evento que se realizou em Albufeira, no Algarve, o grande vencedor foi o restaurante portuense Antiqvvm, que passa agora a contar com duas estrelas Michelin. Outra nota de destaque prende-se com o facto de ainda não ter sido desta que Portugal alcançou as três estrelas. Vamos conhecer os vencedores?
A estreia da Gala do Guia Michelin em Portugal
Tal como mencionamos anteriormente, Portugal conseguiu trazer até ao Algarve a realização de uma Gala do Guia Michelin, evento que antes decorria em conjunto com Espanha.
Esta iniciativa exclusiva serviu para premiar o melhor da gastronomia nacional para 2024, sendo que um total de quatro novos estabelecimentos foram premiados com estrelas Michelin.
Novas distinções
Quatro novos restaurantes alcançaram a primeira das suas estrelas… e são eles os seguintes:
- 2Monkeys, de Vítor Matos e Francisco Quintas, em Lisboa;
- Sála, de João Sá, em Lisboa;
- Desarma, de Octávio Freitas, no Funchal;
- Ó Balcão, de Rodrigo Castelo, em Santarém.

Três estrelas ainda é um sonho
Ainda não foi desta que Portugal conseguiu um restaurante com três estrelas Michelin, que qualifica e distingue uma “cozinha única, justificando a viagem”.
Mesmo assim, contabilizamos um total de 31 restaurantes com uma estrela. Neste sentido, vamos conhecer cada um dos vencedores, mais à frente.
Outros prémios atribuídos
Além dos casos já mencionados, foram atribuídos ainda outros prémios na primeira Gala do Guia Michelin em Portugal.
Posto isto, a distinção de “jovem Chef” recaiu sobre Rita Magro (do Blind, no Porto); o prémio “Sala” foi entregue a Pedro Marques (The Yeatman, em Gaia); e o de “Sommelier” foi para Leonel Nunes (Il Galo d’Oro, no Funchal).
Restaurantes Bib Gourmand
Merece também destaque a distinção Bib Gourmand, que premeia os restaurantes com uma boa relação qualidade-preço. Ao todo, foram distinguidos oito novos spots:
- Flora, de João Guedes Ferreira, em Viseu;
- Norma, de Hugo Alves, em Guimarães;
- Inato Bistrô, de Tiago Costa e Miguel Rodrigues, em Braga;
- O Pastus, de Annakaren Fuentes, em Paço de Arvos;
- Oma, de Luís Moreira, em Baião;
- Patio 44, de Simão Soares e Afonso Ramos, no Porto;
- Olaias, de Mónica Gomes, na Figueira da Foz;
- Poda, de João Narigueta, em Montemor-o-Novo.
