Cinco estações de metro do Porto albergam agora uma forte homenagem fotográfica aos profissionais de saúde do Hospital S. João.
“110 retratos de uma Luta” é o nome da mais recente homenagem feita no Porto aos profissionais de saúde, que têm sido verdadeiros heróis sem capa, cujo super-poder é um dos mais preciosos de sempre: o de preservar e salvar vidas. Por isso, hoje trazemos-te esta forte homenagem fotográfica que está dividida entre cinco estações de Metro do Porto.
@Marcus Garcia in ObservadorA partir de hoje e até ao fim de maio, já vais poder ver esta nova homenagem fotográfica feita aos profissionais do Hospital S. João, no Porto. São 110 fotografias de colaboradores de várias áreas deste hospital de referência, todas da autoria do fotógrafo Marcus Garcia. Esta exposição está agora distribuída entre cinco estações de metro, nomeadamente: Bolhão, Faria Guimarães, Aliados, Marquês e Combatentes.
O fotógrafo Marcus Garcia, autor dos retratos afirma ao observador:
“Este projeto surgiu da vontade de consciencializar a população para o esforço realizado pelos colaboradores do Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João (CHUSJ) e de todo o Serviço Nacional de Saúde na luta contra a pandemia, através do ato de retratar e mostrar à comunidade a intensidade do olhar e dos rostos daqueles que, corajosamente, estiveram na linha da frente de combate à Covid-19”
Para além da exposição itinerante, o fotógrafo português Marcus Garcia editou também um livro, de forma a que este período que estamos a atravessar ‘perdure na memória dos portugueses’.
Já em 2017, Marcus Garcia fotografou 20 portugueses com 100 anos para uma exposição denominada ‘Centenários’, que esteve exposta na estação do Bolhão.
Conhece a homenagem feita por Vhils, num mural dedicado aos profissionais de saúde, num mural no Hospital de São João.
