A ligação ferroviária entre Lisboa e Porto foi destacada a nível internacional, de acordo com um estudo da Greenpeace, o qual foi divulgado recentemente. Neste ranking, a conexão entre as duas cidades portuguesas é considerada a quarta melhor da Europa.
Ao todo, o estudo analisou 112 ligações ferroviárias, tendo por base alguns dos seguintes critérios: mais de três comboios diretos por dia; boa velocidade média; fiabilidade; serem mais baratas do que um avião e preço inferior a 150 euros.
Desta forma, a ligação ferroviária entre Lisboa e Porto surge em 4º lugar, ficando apenas atrás dos trajetos Hamburgo-Munique, Berlim-Praga e Zurique-Berlim. No entanto, as novidades não se ficam por aqui.
Citando o mesmo estudo, o Porto Canal destacou que apenas 12 dos percursos analisados neste relatório podem ser considerados como “grandes rotas”.
De acordo com a mesma fonte de media, assim sendo, e apesar de não ter a melhor fiabilidade:
A rota nacional tem 17 comboios em cada sentido e uma velocidade média entre os 104 e os 119 km por hora. Já os preços variam entre os 25,25€ (Intercidades) e os 31,90€ (Alfa Pendular).”
Segunda melhor ao nível nacional
Na página oficial da CP – Comboios de Portugal, a empresa de transportes destaca que:
A ligação ferroviária entre o Porto e Lisboa foi reconhecida como sendo a segunda melhor a nível nacional em toda a Europa, sendo superada apenas pela ligação Hamburgo-Munique da Deutsche Bahn.”
