Quantos brinquedos temos por casa que os miúdos já não brincam? Trazemos-te a hipótese de lhes dares uma nova vida!
Há um projeto que dá nova vida aos brinquedos que já não são usados. Este projeto chama-se Replay e surgiu como forma de potenciar a reciclagem dos plásticos, criando novos brinquedos a partir de antigos.
Todos os anos cerca de 30 milhões de brinquedos são deitados fora, acabando a sua vida em aterros ou incinerados. De forma a combater esta realidade, o projeto Replay pôs mãos ao trabalho e lançou um mote para recolher brinquedos e lançar o desafio de criar novos a partir destes.
O processo é bem simples e até podes incluir os miúdos. Só precisas de identificar os brinquedos que já estejam a cumprir a sua função, e separar as diferentes partes dos mesmos, tarefa que os mais novos até podem gostar de ajudar. Depois só tens que entregar num dos diversos pontos de recolha da cidade: Ecocentro da Prelada, loja Babyboom Porto, Ecotribu, Maçaroca Mercearia Viva, Miss’OPO ou nas instalações da OPOLAB.
O passo seguinte cabe à Zero Waste Lab e à Precious Plastic Portugal, que encabeçam o projeto Replay, desafiarem estudantes de design de produto para desenvolver o conceito e criar um brinquedo novo a partir do velho.Tudo o que não for possível de ser aproveitado será utilizado para criar caixas recicladas que serão colocadas em parques infantis de modo a promover a recolha de brinquedos em bom estado fomentando a troca e partilha entre a comunidade.
