No verão, os planos ao ar livre são os que chamam mais a atenção de todos, incluindo a nossa. No entanto, há iniciativas indoor que merecem uma visita, independentemente da altura do ano, como é o caso da exposição fotográfica “The Comedy Wildlife”, em estreia em Portugal, no Centro Português de Fotografia.
A Terra Esplêndida e o Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, em parceria com o Centro Português de Fotografia, apresentam esta mostra, de 15 de julho a 29 de outubro. Ao todo, cerca de 150 imagens prometem cativar e divertir o público de todas as idades.
Um peixe sorridente, um macaco cantor, uma tartaruga maldisposta, um esquilo super-herói, um leão trapalhão: é este lado da natureza – o que nos diverte e nos põe um sorriso na cara – que os fotógrafos que participam no prémio ‘The Comedy Wildlife’ nos mostram”, lê-se em comunicado.
O prémio “The Comedy Wildlife” foi criado pelos fotógrafos de vida selvagem Tom Sullam e Paul Joynson-Hicks, em 2015, para chamar a atenção para a conservação ambiental de uma forma única. Ou seja, através do humor.
Desde então, o projeto cresceu e hoje é uma competição internacional de renome, aberta a amadores e profissionais, vista por milhões de pessoas todos os anos.
Agora, os portuenses e turistas vão ter a oportunidade de contemplar de perto uma exposição fotográfica repleta de humor.
A par do caráter de lazer, ao oferecer uma perspetiva divertida sobre o mundo animal, a verdade é que a “The Comedy Wildlife” transmite uma forte mensagem sobre a importância da sustentabilidade ambiental e da proteção das espécies ameaçadas.
Neste contexto, não é de estranhar que parte da receita de bilheteira da exposição beneficie a Sociedade Portuguesa para o Estudo das Aves (SPEA).
