Apesar de setembro ter começado há pouco, e de ainda haver muita gente em modo ‘férias de verão’, certo é que já há novidades em relação ao Natal no Porto. Em 2024, a cidade deverá contar com 94 ruas iluminadas, mais três do que no ano passado, assim com uma árvore de 30 metros de altura.
Segundo informações do jornal Público, que cita a Associação de Comerciantes do Porto (ACP), foi lançado o concurso público internacional para o aluguer de iluminações e outras infraestruturas natalícias, sendo que o preço base chega aos 520 mil euros (mais IVA), um valor superior a 2023.
Natal no Porto está cada vez maior
De acordo com o Público, contactado pela Lusa, o presidente da ACP, Rubens de Carvalho destacou que as iluminações e decorações natalícias no Porto têm vindo a crescer de ano para ano. Por exemplo, em 2024 estima-se que, pelo menos 94 ruas contarão com o brilho de Natal, um número superior ao de 2020, altura em que apenas 80 arruamentos eram abrangidos.
Além disso, também os motivos usados nas iluminações vão ser mais do que no último ano, passando de 846 para 876, uma quantidade que se revela ainda mais significativa quando em comparação a 2020, altura em que se registaram apenas 588.
Relativamente à tradicional árvore da Avenida dos Aliados, esta deverá atingir, no mínimo, os 30 metros de altura. Contudo, não será a única a espalhar magia pela cidade, visto que deverão juntar-se mais 13 árvores pequenas e três médias, instaladas em diferentes pontos geográficos do Porto.
Sobre o acender oficial das luzes, um dos momentos mais aguardados pelos portuenses e turistas, este deverá ter lugar entre as 17h30 e as 18h00 do dia 1 de dezembro. E tu, já estás a pensar no Natal?
