Lately, we’ve seen an increase in the supply of air connections from Porto Airport (considered one of the best in the world). This time, it’s time for the city of Invicta to ‘unite’ with Montreal, one of the main cities in Canada.
According to information from Turismo de Portugal, from the summer of 2025, Air Canada will have four direct weekly flights between Montreal and Porto. In this way, the Canadian airline will debut its operations in Invicta.
This is because, according to the same source, this is Air Canada’s first flight to Porto and the third to Portugal. In this context, there is a strengthening of flights between the two countries, a scenario that could be promising as far as the business world (and beyond) is concerned.
Canada, a market that promises
On its official website, the Turismo de Portugal also explains that Canada is a promising market for the tourism sector.
According to their information, in 2023, compared to last year, there was a significant increase of 56.9% in overnight stays and 54.5% in the number of guests coming from this North American country.
