It’s not the first time that Porto Airport has been highlighted internationally. This time, it appears to be the market leader in Portugal, according to a study.
The report AirHelp Score 2024 evaluated a total of 239 airports in 70 countries in different categories, such as service excellence, punctuality, complaints handling and quality, among others.
According to the study, quoted by Jornal de Notícias, Porto airport appears in the middle of the international table, in 117th position with 7.60 points (on a scale of ten).
And one of the worst airports in the world is..
Conversely, Humberto Delgado Airport, also known as Lisbon Airport, was considered one of the worst in the world. In a list of 239, it came 234th, with 6.59 points.
According to Jornal de Notícias, one of the reasons for this ranking is the successive flight delays.
Faro’s Gago Coutinho Airport came in 185th place, with 7.27 points.
