Music is a universal language that connects us, whether as a form of leisure, passion or escape. In Portugal, festivals such as MEO Kalorama and Primavera Sound Porto stand out both indoors and outdoors. But if you want to expand your horizons and live new experiences, Europe offers a vast list of unmissable musical events.
From rock to metal, not forgetting electronic music and pop, there are options for (almost) every taste. So get ready to travel to the Basque Country and enjoy Bilbao BBK Live, one of Spain’s most emblematic festivals, or take a trip to France to experience the unmistakable energy of Hellfest. Either way, it’s worth taking a look and starting to plan for summer 2025.

Primavera Sound Barcelona
The ‘big brother’ of Primavera Sound Porto needs no introduction, as it is already considered one of the best festivals in Europe.
Over the last two decades, Primavera Sound Barcelona has been able to reinvent itself every year, focusing on established artists as well as emerging talents.
For the 2025 edition, the organization has done it again by betting on current pop divas such as Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, but also on other artists such as TV On The Radio, Jamie XX, Beach House, IDLES, Floating Points, LCD Soundsystem and many more.

After Belgium, how about heading to the UK? After all, it’s home to one of the most legendary festivals of all time: the Glastonbury Festival. What’s more, this year’s edition is particularly special, as it precedes the year-long break known as ‘fallow year’.
So this is an excellent opportunity to get to know such an iconic event up close, with a capacity of over 200,000 people. Rod Stewart and Nile Rodgers & Chic are some of the names announced so far, but there are more (and surprising) revelations to come.
