Used to thrilling audiences all over the world, Il Divo’s music will once again serve as the motto for a reunion with the Portuguese public. In July, there will be an Il Divo concert in Porto. However, this is not the only date in Portugal, as the quartet will also perform in Lisbon.
In a statement sent to the media, Live Nation said that Il Divo are returning to Portugal as part of the “XX, 20th Anniversary Tour” world tour, to celebrate their 20th anniversary, but also their latest album “XX”.
As such, the classic crossover group will perform at the Coliseu dos Recreios on July 15 and then head to the city of Invicta, where they will take to the stage at the Coliseu Porto Ageas on July 16.
What to expect from Il Divo in Porto?
Known for their angelic voices, fans of the band can expect some of the hits that have marked their career, but also the interpretations that are part of this new chapter.
In this sense, the album “XX” stands out for its musical diversity, featuring unreleased versions of “Despacito”, “Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti” and “Crazy”.
In addition, this album marks the debut of Steven LaBrie as an official member of the group, following the sad loss of Carlos Marín, who died in 2021 from COVID.
Tickets for the Il Divo concert in Porto will go on sale on March 14 at 10am. But for those interested, the pre-sale will take place on March 12 at 10am.
