Casa da Música
The Casa da Música needs no introduction and therefore could not be missing from this article. This is one of Porto’s largest concert halls, but also a symbolarchitectural, by Rem Koolhaas.
Located in the Boavista area, this is an eclectic space, which welcomes diverse styles of music, from jazz to electronica, without forgetting classical sounds. Various national and international artists perform here.
For example, until the end of the year you can still see concerts by Tallest Man On Earth (September 9), Iolanda (October 1), Nancy Vieira (November 2), Tindersticks (November 11), among many others. To make sure you don’t miss anything, it’s best to pay attention to the Casa da Música schedule.

Hard Club
Located near the incomparable Palácio da Bolsa, the Hard Club is a cultural reference point in the city of Porto. In addition, it is located in the Mercado Ferreira Borges, a building classified as a Property of Public Interest, which draws attention for its color.
In the interior of the Hard Club you can find: Room 1 (for large events, with space for 1000 people standing);Room 2 (350 people standing); and the Main Floor with free access, where some exhibitions and free activities.
If you’re a fan of rock, metal and other more alternative styles of music, then this is the perfect space for you. For example, this cult concert hall is home to Amplifest, a nationally and internationally recognized event.

Teatro Sá da Bandeira
The Teatro Sá da Bandeira is one of the oldest theater halls in the city of Porto but, at the same time, it also hosts several musical shows, including national and international artists.

M.OU.CO website
This space is no classic, in the literal sense of the word. However, it has already made a name for itself in Porto’s music scene, as it is the first hotel in the country with a multidisciplinary concept aimed at the world of music.
M.OU.CO. stands for “Music and Other Things”, a name that lives up to its very essence. However, if you think it’s just a hotel that organizes concerts, you’re wrong.
After all, it not only has a concert hall, but also rehearsal rooms and a health and wellness space for musicians. So this place is anything but conventional and hosts several concerts.

Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota
Located in the heart of the Gardens of the Crystal Palace, the Super Bock Arena – Rosa Mota Pavilion is a multi-purpose pavilion with capacity for major events.
A wide range of renowned national and international artists often perform here. The list of shows you can attend this year includes, for example, the following:

New Attic
Located in the upper part of the iconic Coliseu Porto Ageas, the Novo Ático is one of the newest concert venues in the city.
It’s a venue dedicated to medium-sized events, and often hosts the incredible Candlelight Concerts.

Bad Habits
As a “Cultural Intervention Space”, the Maus Hábitos serves as a stage for small concerts in Porto, including themed parties and DJ sets.
Open since 2001, its location on Rua de Passos Manuel, near the Coliseu Porto Ageas, makes it a cultural stop (almost) obligatory in the city.

Coliseu Ageas Porto
Open since 1941, the Ageas Porto Coliseum is a must-see when it comes to concerts in Porto.

Hilton Porto Gaia
Although not necessarily a music venue, the five-star Hilton Porto Gaia hosts various live music shows throughout the year, including the enchanting production “We Call It Flamenco”.
