Porto is recognized for quality of its beaches or it wouldn’t be Best Metropolitan Seaside Destination (in the European context). However, the beauty of its green spaces is also worth celebrating, for example at the city’s inaugural “Jardins Abertos” festival.
After conquering Lisbon, where it already has 13 editions, the initiative has now decided to sow its first seeds in Porto. Therefore, from June 29 to 30, precisely on the last weekend of the month, six private and institutional gardens will open their doors.
In a statement sent to our newsroom, the organization said that the program includes green spaces known to the general public, but also some secret.
