Do you love shopping and can’t do without surprises? Then there’s something new waiting for you. The phenomenon of lost parcels has now reached Greater Porto, thanks to Trevobox.
After several events in the south of Portugal, the Algarve company decided to set up a pop-up store in Parque Nascente, in Rio Tinto, in the municipality of Gondomar, just a few minutes from the city of Porto. It will be there until March 31st.
Lost parcels on sale?
Can you imagine what happens to lost parcels? Apparently, one of the solutions could be to sell them. However, there is one important factor to bear in mind: surprise.
Claimed parcels may contain electronics, clothes, toys, utensils and much more, but you won’t know what you’re buying until you open the box.
We don’t know what’s inside the parcels and neither do the customers. Orders are sold by weight, starting at 2.49 euros per 100 grams,” says Trevobox founder Miguel Puech in a statement sent to Porto Secreto.
So far, the Trevobox pop-up store is attracting the attention of the public in Greater Porto, with considerable queues at Parque Nascente.
In this sense, the phenomenon is replicating the success of previous initiatives, which took place at the São Martinho Fair in Portimão, the Feira Franca in Albufeira and Off Market 125.
Other information
Trevobox opened its doors to the public on March 1 and will remain at Parque Nascente until March 31, on the second floor, opposite Stradivarius.
The pop-up store is open from Sunday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to midnight.
