And this year, Porto is getting ready to receive a real early Christmas gift: the famous “Natal Ao Vivo” show is returning to Porto’s major stages, bringing with it the characters that dominate our TV screens at home.
Forget the traditional, quiet routine of Santa’s Village. This time, the white-bearded old man is getting some big-name reinforcements that promise to send the little ones into a frenzy on December 20 at the Super Bock Arena—Pavilhão Rosa Mota. Can you imagine the look on their faces when they see Bluey and Bingo, Peppa Pig and her brother George, and even the superheroine Ladybug (from the incredible Miraculous universe) in person?
But what, exactly, is this year’s mystery?
The adventure begins when a very mysterious letter lands in the Village’s mailbox. The problem? It has no sender, no address, and contains a very unusual request: “Santa, this Christmas I’d like to receive a gift that doesn’t fit in a box.”
That’s when the real fun begins. And don’t be fooled into thinking this is one of those shows where kids have to sit still and be quiet. Quite the opposite. The whole point of this format is to break away from traditional theater and get the whole family involved.
Santa Claus and his elves will need the invaluable help of the little detectives in the audience (and a few special guests on stage) to solve this mystery. Get ready for a wild interactive mission , where each challenge overcome—with the help of lots of songs, dances, and games—reveals a new clue to decipher the letter.
