The São João Festivities need no introduction, or they wouldn’t be the most famous in the city of Porto. Although there is still some time to go before Invicta is filled with euphoria, there is news.
More specifically, Porto City Council, through the municipal company Ágora – Cultura e Desporto do Porto, is promoting a competition to find a new image for the Sanjoaninas festivities.

The initiative aims to encourage artists from different fields to submit their proposals, taking into account some of the following requirements:
- Submission of portfolios demonstrating the original and critical use of visual languages
- A descriptive report articulating the challenges associated with the creation and development of the image
- Integration of legibility, versatility and applicability solutions
Proposals must be submitted via the acinGov platform by 5pm on March 28th.
