
Since the pandemic, remote working has grown to the point where it has become a lifestyle for many individuals. In other words, in many situations, all you need is a computer and a good internet connection to work, without having to go to the office.
Recently, however, some companies have abandoned this working arrangement. Despite this, it’s interesting to look at the study by PR digital agency Reboot Online, which reveals the following:
The number of countries with digital nomad visas has increased by more than 4000% in the last 30 days, showing a strong interest to live and work in warmer climates.”
According to the aforementioned study, there are two Portuguese cities in the final top 10 , namely Porto and Lisbon. However, before we find out their positions, let’s take a look at the methodology used to reach these conclusions.

PR digital agency Reboot Online considered various parameters, such as:
- Average cost of an Airbnb
- Average download speed
- Security
- Public transport
- Average cost of a meal, among others.
Note also that countries with temperatures below 15 degrees have been excluded from the index.
