Serralves Park is one of the most beautiful green spaces in Porto. It is also the destination of many contemporary art lovers and the ‘home’ of events that mark the city’s cultural agenda, such as Serralves em Festa and Festa de Outono. To make sure you don’t miss out on the festive season, there’s another initiative to mark in your calendar: the return of the Serralves Christmas Market.
With free admission, the Serralves Park opens its doors on December 6, 7 and 8, with more than 50 exhibitors, including several national designers and brands. Here, you can find design pieces, decoration, accessories, children’s items and more. In addition, the program has some ‘surprises’ in store.
This means that, as well as buying Christmas presents, the Serralves Christmas Market also offers creativeworkshops, a street food area, shows and live music.

Among the highlights of this edition are, for example:
- Evening concert on December 6 (Saturday) at 10pm
- Presentation of the new children’s book by Capicua and Matilde Horta – “How does a snail run away from home?”, on December 8 (Monday)
If you’re planning to visit Serralves Park, you should know that on the first day of the Christmas Market (Saturday, December 6) the opening hours are extended, from 10am to 10pm. On the other days, December 7 and 8 (Sunday and Monday, respectively), the doors open at 10am and close at 7pm.
