The city of Porto has become the epicenter of all gastronomic attention, as it hosted the second Michelin Guide Portugal Gala this Tuesday, February 25, at the Alfândega do Porto Congress Center. The ceremony was supported by Turismo do Porto and aimed to distinguish the best of Portuguese gastronomy.
In all, from the north to the south of Portugal, the Michelin Guide now includes 46 restaurants. Overall, eight new stars were awarded , including Blind (Porto) and two other restaurants near Invicta. As for the three stars, they continue to ‘slip away’, but the places awarded two stars remain.
In addition, one of the most remarkable moments of the evening was the awarding of a Michelin star to Chef Marlene Vieira, becoming the first woman in 30 years to achieve this distinction in Portugal. Shall we meet all the new winners?
