The 3rd edition of the immersive experience Wild Lights, open to the public since November last year, has already set a date to say goodbye to Zoo Santo Inácio: February 23rd.
Until then, the largest and greenest zoological park in the northern region continues to welcome visitors interested in exploring a true ‘illuminated jungle’, located just a few minutes from Porto, in Avintes (Vila Nova de Gaia).
After the festive season, the timetable changed, so it’s now only possible to immerse yourself in this magical world at weekends. It’s worth remembering that there you’ll find 600 illuminated figures of animals and plants.
A dip in this light show
We recently had the chance to visit this immersive experience and we were amazed. For more than a kilometer, we took photos, visited the House of the Nocturnal Animals or Tropical World.
We also took the opportunity to reminisce about childhood on the illuminated swings, or to play among the illuminated giraffes, pandas, flamingos and zebras.
One of our favorite places was by the lake, where the atmosphere was even more immersive, with the presence of swans and more, in a real light show for all ages!
