Há um mural na rua Oliveira Monteiro que simboliza um pouco do que foram os últimos meses para nós.
O colorido mural ‘Juntos’ é da autoria do portuense Mário Fonseca, aka Oker, cujo trabalho artístico no mundo do graffiti remonta a 1999. Hoje, o seu trabalho caracteriza-se pela sua versatilidade no tipo de projetos e trabalhos, tendo trabalho feito nas áreas do graffiti, arte urbana, design gráfico e fotografia. Oker possui um estilo muito colorido, alegre e fresco.
Este estilo característico de Oker está bem visível no seu mural intitulado ‘Juntos’, recorrendo a personagens animadas bem coloridas e a formas abstratas. Segundo publicação da Ágora Porto, este enquadra-se
(…) bem no período que todos estamos a viver por estes dias.’
O mural encontra-se inserido no Programa de Arte Urbana do Porto, que tem como objetivo a divulgação da produção criativa de arte urbana em locais enquadrados e devidamente autorizados. Este programa foi inaugurado em 2014 pela Câmara Municipal e desde então, foram realizadas mais de 80 intervenções artísticas no espaço público da cidade. O programa conta com a curadoria do portuense Hazul.
Desde o início do ano que temos vindo a assistir ao aumento de intervenções artísticas em postos de transformação da EDP no Porto, inseridos no Programa de Arte Urbana da cidade. O mural ‘Juntos’ é uma destas intervenções, juntando-se assim ao mural de Rafi die Erste com o seu ‘poema a céu aberto’ e a GODMESS com a sua homenagem às antigas aguadeiras da cidade.
