A chegada de dezembro é sinónimo de Natal, mas também de fins de semana prolongados, graças aos vários feriados. Neste contexto, a Sociedade de Transportes Coletivos do Porto (STCP) e o Metro do Porto decidiram reforçar, precisamente, os seus serviços de transportes para os dias 1 e 8 de dezembro (e não só).
Segundo o site oficial da STCP, o horário a ser praticado nos dias, acima mencionados, será o de “sábado” e não o de “feriado”
Isto significa que a operação da STCP assume, nessas duas sextas-feiras, a realização de um maior número de viagens para as múltiplas linhas de autocarro”, lê-se na página da STCP.
Reforço da circulação no Metro do Porto
Devido às festividades e eventos tradicionais associados à época natalícia, os serviços do Metro do Porto vão ser reforçados já no feriado de 1 de dezembro, sexta-feira. Isto porque se trata de um dia em que é esperada uma grande afluência graças ao acender de luzes de Natal no Porto.
De acordo com o site oficial do Metro do Porto, no dia 1 de dezembro, o serviço será reforçado, a partir das 16h00, na Linha Amarela (D) e no tronco comum, entre a Senhora da Hora e o Estádio do Dragão. Depois disso, entre as 20h00 e as 22h00, o reforço estende-se a quase todas as linhas, excetuando a Violeta (E).
Além disso, e segundo a mesma fonte, o Metro vai contar igualmente com um serviço especial nos dias 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 e 30 de dezembro.
