Porto Coffee Week is back for its fifth edition, and this yearit brings a major change: the Coffee Market will now take place at the Bolhão Market, with free admission. The event runs from October 5 to 10, divided between three days of pop-up activities scattered throughout the city ( October 5–7) and the main market (October 8–10), which brings together national and international roasters, accessory and equipment brands, as well as workshops and plenty of tastings.
Anyone who wants to go beyond just visiting and enjoy unlimited drinks—espressos, pour-over coffee, matcha, signature drinks, or plant-based alternatives—can do so by purchasing the event’s official cup for 10 euros, available for pre-order on the Porto Coffee Week website. The mug was designed exclusively for this edition and produced in Portugal by Crisal, based in Marinha Grande, with sponsorship from ONIS as the Glassware Sponsor.
Aeropress Portugal 2026 sparks competition among professionals

One of the confirmed new features is the return of competitions for professionals. The 2026 Aeropress Portugal Championship will be part of the program, challenging participants to grind, prepare, and serve their recipe in just five minutes—a format that balances creativity and precision in the world of filter coffee. The winner takes home the title of national champion.
The full schedule has not yet been released, but the organizers promise more details soon. Sage Appliances remains a Gold Sponsor, in a partnership that Porto Coffee Week describes as focused on promoting coffee culture in Portugal.
