In 2022, Village by BOA opened The Space in Porto; now, the venue is hosting the Fall Market on October 17 and 18 in support of Mama Help

Before the cold sets in, the Fall Market by BOA returns to The Space, the event hall at Village by BOA, in downtown Porto. The new edition takes place on October 17 and 18, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and admission is free.

Since its inception, the market has featured clothing, crafts, jewelry, and culinary offerings, and this edition follows the same format. You can find more information about the event on its Instagram page.

Among the creators in attendance, Luxalys will showcase its handmade candles and scents, while Art e Manha and Camellia’s Studio will bring a selection of jewelry. The team from Portrait Tattoo will also be there: you can get a piercing or have a special design tattooed on the spot.

For food and drinks, Governita once again offers its fall selection. The menu features calzones, pregos, and empanadas, as well as lemon-blueberry cake and chocolate-dulce de leche cake. The menu also includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You can enjoy them inside the space designed by Ingrid Aparício Studio or on the balcony, overlooking the city center.

In the midst of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Fall Market is partnering with the Mama Help association. Over the two days, The Space will sell charity soaps and serve as a donation drop-off point. All proceeds will go toward supporting breast cancer patients, their families, and caregivers.

“The Fall Market is already a very special moment on our calendar, as it embodies The Space’s mission as a meeting place for Portuguese creativity and talent,” says Carolina Germano, General Manager of Village by BOA. She adds that the connection to Pink October and Mama Help’s mission reinforces the commitment to creating events that have a positive impact on the local community.

Opened in 2022, The Space hosts everything from small private celebrations to team-building events, photo shoots, dinners, workshops, and community-oriented initiatives.
