After being forced to close its doors last year and leave its old building in Rua de Passos Manuel, the emblematic Armazém dos Linhos is now embracing a new chapter in its century-old history.
Since January 20, the business led by sisters Leonor and Filipa Pinto Basto now has a pop-up store in Praça D. Filipa de Lencastre, right in the heart of Porto .
This is a temporary point of sale, while we prepare our new permanent address in detail. We believe in the importance of staying close, resisting and rebuilding, bringing our cheetahs, linens and exclusive products to the customers who have always accompanied us,” reads a post on its official Instagram page.
It should be noted that, due to the small size of the space, the offer is also more limited. However, this is a temporary solution until the ‘new house’ reopens. In fact, the newspaper PÚBLICO reports that Armazém dos Linhos is only expected to remain in this location until June.
If you would like to visit this 120-year-old historic Porto business, then you should know that it is open from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 19:00; and also on Saturdays from 10:00 to 18:00.
