Out of ideas for Carnival? We’ve already recommended some stores where you can buy your costume, or even some themed initiatives. But if you’re still not satisfied and are looking for a family plan, here’s a new tip: a costume parade at the Electric Car Museum on March 1.
More details about the initiative are given in a statement from the Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto (STCP) sent to Porto Secreto:
Between 10.30am and 12.30pm, the Museum will open its doors for a special activity, inviting families, especially with children and young people, to let their imagination run wild and create masks inspired by the characters they most want to be.”
After being invited to design, cut out and paint their own Carnival mask, the Electric Car Museum provides participants with various accessories to make their masks even brighter.
At the end of the creative activity, the initiative culminates with a themed trip aboard a historic car along the banks of the River Douro. A different way to experience Carnival.
Participation in this special Carnival activity requires mandatory pre-registration via this form by 5pm on February 27.
The general price is €15 for two people (adult and child). However, there are discounts at half price for STCP employees or Porto card holders.
