After surprising Portuguese fans with the announcement of The Cure, whose lawn tickets are already completely sold out, the organizers of North Festival 2026 are bringing more news. In all, there are three new confirmations for the festival: Snow Patrol, Mogwai and Ornatos Violeta.
The festival will take place from June 5 to 7, 2026 at the Cidade Desportiva da Maia, which will be the setting for the big musical event for the first time. Regarding the recent announcement of the line-up, Jorge Veloso, director of Vibes & Beats, the festival’s promoter, said in a statement:
The bands will have the opportunity to present their full concerts and not, with time limits usually imposed by festivals.”

North Festival 2026 line-up
June 5 (Friday)
Snow Patrol, the well-known alternative rock band from Scotland, have been confirmed for the first day of the festival. Formed in 1994, the group rose to fame with hits such as “Chasing Cars”.
Ornatos Violeta, an inescapable name in Portuguese music, will also take to the North Festival stage on June 5, bringing the classics of Manuel Cruz and his bandmates .
June 6th (Saturday)

June 7th (Sunday)
In addition to The Cure, the North Festival organizers have announced the presence of Mogwai, the renowned progressive rock group from Glasgow, for June 7.
Tickets for the festival are available on the official website and in CTT stores at the following prices: general daily 55€, VIP grandstand 120€, VIP box 250€ and general pass 140€.
