MEO Marés Vivas, one of the biggest summer festivals in the north of Portugal, has only just finished and has already revealed the dates for its reunion with the public: July 17, 18 and 19, 2026. The announcement was made in the wake of the success of the 17th edition.
The three-day festival, which took place at the former Madalena Camping Park in Vila Nova de Gaia, was attended by a total of 120,000 people. There were artists such as Scorpions, Ozuna, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Xutos e Pontapés, Pedro Sampaio and many more.
What can we expect from the 2026 edition?
This year, the venue included five stages, a Ferris wheel and a slide – two new features this summer. But what can we expect from the next edition?
Speaking to Lusa, quoted by Diário de Notícias, the director of PEV Entertainment, Jorge Lopes, said that the aim for 2026 is to continue to grow:
More than growing in attendance, we want to grow consistently. And when we grow, the venue and the city itself have to be prepared to receive people because we’re talking about 40,000 people,” he said.

What about the poster?
Regarding the poster, he pointed out that the MEO Marés Vivas 2026 organizers have been working on it for some time, so news should be released soon.
In addition, the idea is to continue focusing on internationally renowned artists, but also on the best of Portuguese music. So let’s keep an eye out for news and the first names on the line-up!
