New Year’s Eve party on Avenida dos Aliados
New Year’s Eve in Porto once again transforms Avenida dos Aliados into the great stage for saying goodbye to 2025 and welcoming 2026, with a free program that goes on until dawn.
The night starts at 10pm with Clã and continues after midnight with Nininho Vaz Maia, who brings his hits from the albums “Raízes” and “Aparentemente vol.1” to the city center. Between concerts, there’s room for the traditional fireworks and a multimedia show “Fluxo”, which combines video, light and sound to celebrate the passage of time.
To round off the party, the Beatbombers DJ set takes over the dance floor at 2am, and on January 1st the Portuguese Symphonic Band presents their New Year’s Eve concert, again in the Aliados.

New Year’s Eve in Maia with the light show “Faça-se Luz!”
On the night of December 31, Maia transforms Praça Dr. José Vieira de Carvalho into a large open-air stage, with a concert by Miguel Araújo starting at 10:30 p.m. and a DJ set by Carolina Torres after midnight.
The highlight is the immersive show “Faça-se Luz!”, in which lasers, pyrotechnics and music join the countdown to songs such as A Sky Full of Stars and Stargazing.
In addition to the musical entertainment, there are also fireworks and a market with stands open for snacks, making this New Year’s Eve party in Maia a free and lively alternative to the celebrations in Porto.

New Year’s Eve at Yotel Porto
Taking advantage of Porto City Hall’s free program is always a good idea. But if you prefer a special New Year’s Eve dinner, there are plenty of options right in the city center.
For the farewell to 2025, the Vela restaurant (at the Yotel Porto) has prepared a menu that mixes traditional and contemporary flavors.
The dishes include, for example, salmon wellington with beurre blanc sauce or sirloin tournedos with truffle puree. To sweeten your mouth, the menu features mille-feuilles with Madagascan vanilla cream and amarena cherry syrup, served with cream ice cream.
At midnight, the toast to 2026 is made with sparkling wine and raisins. A DJ will also provide entertainment.

New Year’s Eve at the Cénica Porto Hotel
The Cénica Porto Hotel is another option for those who enjoy exquisite surroundings. To celebrate the arrival of 2026, the program includes a welcome cocktail, followed by a gala dinner, the usual midnight toast, a late supper and, of course, guaranteed entertainment until dawn with a DJ.
Dinner will include a variety of delicious starters, such as crab salad with avocado and prawns or pata negra croquettes, with vegetarian alternatives. The main courses include corvina over seafood açorda and PDO beef entrecôte with potato mille-feuille and truffle sauce.

If you’re looking for a ‘caliente’ party, then this event is for you. Magic Moments Restaurant & Dance Club is promoting a dinner with a show and entertainment for New Year’s Eve.
The experience includes a full dinner, sparkling wine at midnight and sensual live shows in a different and provocative atmosphere, priced at €90 per person.
New Year’s Eve at WOW
WOW, the cultural quarter of Vila Nova de Gaia,has prepared rigorously to host Christmas,but it will also do the same for New Year’s Eve.
