Recently, the organizers of the North Festival announced that the 7th edition of the event will be held at the Bessa Stadium in Porto, confirming the presence of Ivete Sangalo. However, there is more news regarding the line-up: Ornatos Violeta and Morangos com Açúcar.
In a statement sent to the media, it can be read that the legendary group Ornatos Violeta will perform on May 25, promising to delight fans with “Ouvi Dizer” and “Capitão Romance”. The project “Cantar Morangos com Açúcar – 20 anos” takes to the stage on May 23.
Ivete Sangalo at the North Festival
At 52, Ivete Sangalo is one of the biggest names in Brazilian music, with many hits such as “Sorte Grande” and “Quando a Chuva Passar”, not forgetting more recent hits such as “Macetando” and “Energia Gostosa”.
The singer will take to the main stage at the Estádio do Bessa on May 24 as part of the celebration of her 30-year career, one day after her big concert in Lisbon at the MEO Arena.
Other stages
This year, and for the first time, the North Festival will feature a third stage, “Rock à Moda do Porto”, as a tribute to Portuguese music and, in particular, to sounds with a ‘northern accent’.
In addition, the “Clubbing” stage will remain, promising to entertain electronic music lovers who love to dance endlessly.
