Whether it’s for the Monumental Serenade of the Queima das Fitas on Avenida dos Aliados or the celebrations for FC Porto’s national championship victory at Estádio do Dragão, on the night of Saturday into Sunday (May 2–3), the Porto Metro will be running all night.
Metro all night long
The Blue (A) and Yellow (D) lines will be the main “spearheads” of the night, operating on a special schedule:
Blue Line (A)
- 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM: every 15 minutes.
- 1:00 a.m. – 3:00 a.m.: when the party reaches its peak, the metro picks up the pace! Trains run every 10 minutes.
Yellow Line (D)
- 8:00 PM – 1:00 AM: express trains running every 7 minutes.
- 1:00 AM – 2:00 AM: service increases to every 10 minutes (on the Trindade–Santo Ovídio line).
Tip from Porto Secreto: If you’re thinking of joining the party, or want to get home safely, follow the authorities’ guidelines and official information from Metro do Porto, among other transportation companies.
