It’s official: we’re striding toward the season of the year’s longest and hottest days. That’s why the rooftops of Porto and its surroundings are getting ready to once again become our ‘natural habitat.’ And when it comes to breathtaking views, The Yeatman in Vila Nova de Gaia is a must-visit.
Famous for its panoramic terrace overlooking the Douro River and the city of Invicta, The Yeatman is giving an early welcome to summer on Saturday, May 23. How ? With the reopening of its iconic Bar 360º, featuring The Rooftop Party, which marks the start of outdoor activities.
What can you expect from this party?
Music, grilled meals, and a stunning setting are the key ingredients that make Bar 360º one of the best options for rooftop fans in Porto and the surrounding area.
Since this is a The Yeatman-branded event, the food was not left to chance. Chef Ricardo Costa has designed a special menu featuring hot and cold dishes and barbecue-style recipes, all accompanied by an excellent wine pairing.
If you’re a fan of fine dining, get ready . The menu ranges from a fresh Alentejo-style gazpacho to bolder options like sweet potato, shrimp, and ginger; grilled corn with miso emulsion; or grilled pineapple with shrimp. Among the main courses, highlights include picanha, roast suckling pig, and a delicious monkfish and shrimp paella. To finish on a high note, there’s frozen tiramisu and tripe with chocolate and egg cream.
Lunches and dinners are here to stay
If you can’t make it to the reopening party, don’t worry. Starting June 5, Bar 360º opens its doors to the public to serve barbecue lunches and dinners, offering a light and fresh dining experience.
