1 – Barraca do Ouro
This place has become a real meeting point for many locals who pass by on their walks along the river bank, or on their way home after a day’s work.

3 – Miradouro Ignez
It’s not by the river, but the view is over it. It’s on Rua da Restauração and offers an absolutely incredible panoramic view. It’s one of the ideal places in the city to enjoy the sunset, for example.

4 – Ponte Pênsil Bar
This bar is absolutely unmissable and worthy of several visits. Right next to the Luiz I bridge, it sits on top of the River Douro, so the view is undoubtedly unparalleled.

Close to the Cathedral, this is one of the best terraces overlooking the River Douro.

With a privileged location facing the Douro River, the Jardim do Morro Esplanade is much sought after, especially by tourists looking to contemplate the sunset in a dream setting.

In Vila Nova de Gaia, on the rooftop of The Rebello hotel you’ll find two in one. How so? As well as a terrace with a beautiful view of the River Douro, on Sundays there is a very special brunch.
Between 11.30 and 15.00, you can ‘devour’ an à la carte menu with various proposals, including for those who follow a vegetarian lifestyle. To liven up the party, there are signature cocktails and DJ sets.
