If you’re planning to go to Serralves em Festa this weekend, May 29–31 , you’ll be glad to know that you can leave your car at home and get there by public transportation. That’s because the Porto Public Transportation Company (STCP) has confirmed that regular service will run during the day, night, and early morning.
According to a statement sent to Porto Secreto, these will be the regular STCP routes connecting to Serralves:
- From 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. – Line 201 (Aliados – Viso); Line 207 (Campanhã – Mercado da Foz)
- From 6 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. – Line 502 (Bolhão – Matosinhos); Line 504 (Boavista – NorteShopping)
- From midnight to 5:30 a.m. (Early Morning Network) – Line 2M (Aliados – Hospital São João).
But there are more options

In addition to STCP buses, another option is the metroBus service, whose Boavista–Império line began commercial operations just over a month ago.
In this context, and to accommodate the high turnout expected for Serralves em Festa, metroBus service has been extended until 1:00 a.m. on Friday night (May 29) and Saturday night (May 30).
It should also be noted that the Serralves em Festa festival is expected to cause some traffic disruptions in the area adjacent to the venue; therefore, these situations can be monitored in real time on the Porto Municipality Traffic Platform.
