If you frequently use STCP buses —Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto—please note that starting this Monday, March 30, there will be temporary schedule changes and additional service on some routes. These changes coincide with the school break for the Easter period .
Operational adjustments
Accordingly, from March 30 to April 2, the “School Break” schedules will be in effect , with the exception of the lines serving Vila Nova de Gaia (900 series), due to the semester-based schedule adopted by educational institutions.
Other important points and dates to note are:
- On Good Friday, April 3, STCP buses will operate on the “Saturday” schedule
- From April 6 to 10, service will operate according to the “School Vacation” schedule
- Starting April 13, the “Normal” schedulewill resume on all STCP lines.

However, there is more news in the world of STCP mobility. In addition to the operational adjustments for Easter, at the end of March, some lines will resume running on the “summer” schedule:
- Line 500 (Praça da Liberdade – Matosinhos Mercado): starting this Monday, March 30, service frequency on this line will be increased.
- Line 1 – Electric Tram (Infante – Passeio Alegre): starting March 29, the last trip from Passeio Alegre will depart at 8:10 p.m.; from Infante, the last trip will depart at 8:35 p.m.
