The strikes at CP – Comboios de Portugal will resume this Friday, December 6, and the transport company itself has already made it known that “major disruptions” to traffic are to be expected.
The official CP – Comboios de Portugal website reads as follows:
Due to a strike called by the SMAQ (National Union of Portuguese Railway Train Drivers), heavy traffic disruptions are expected on December 6 with an impact on the previous and following days.”
In this context, it is expected that December 5 (Thursday) and 7 (Saturday) may also be affected, following the strike at CP – Comboios de Portugal.
It should be noted that other companies may suffer disruptions due to this scenario, namely Fertagus, Metro do Sul do Tejo, ViaPorto, Captrain, Medway and Infraestruturas de Portugal.
In addition, as in previous situations, CP has already announced that it will refund in full or exchange free of charge the tickets purchased for the Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Internacional, InterRegional and Regional services.
