Cabaret – Unique Xperience: Halloween Edition
The MXM Art Center is a well-known venue in Porto due to the diversity of its offer. This time, it’s promoting a special Halloween edition, featuring a dinner show where cabaret and horror come together on the night of October 31st.
To celebrate the date properly, dress up as a ghost, Wednesday Addams, witch,serial killer and/or any other ‘terrifying’ figure. After that, all you have to do is let yourself be carried away by the show, while enjoying a delicious meal.

Haunted Halloween at SEA LIFE Porto
Between October 31 and November 3, SEA LIFE Porto will be transformed into a scene of mystery with the presence of the enigmatic “ghost fish”. This unique event offers creative activities for the whole family, where visitors can create and reveal ‘invisible’ fish with special paint.

Porto Halloween Pub Crawl
For those who fancy a sort of ‘pub rally’, how about trying the “Porto Halloween Pub Crawl”? On the night of October 31st, this initiative takes you through four bars and an incredible nightclub, with six drinks included.
The meeting point is the iconic Fonte dos Leões. Afterwards, drinking games, challenges and all-night fun await you. To make the most of the experience, you’re invited to wear a terrifying Halloween costume.

Halloween celebration at Rua Beer Market
From October 31 to November 3, Armazém 22, in Cais de Gaia, will host a special edition of the Rua Beer Market.
This free event offers a diverse program that includes live music, flash tattoos and a variety of craft beers.
With more than 50 beer references, the market promises seasonal flavors and unique experiences.

Halloween at WOW
WOW, Vila Nova de Gaia‘s cultural quarter, is one of the trendiest venues near Porto, so it has prepared a special program to celebrate Halloween, from October 31 to November 3.
The program is wide-ranging, so here are some of its attractions, such as:
- Escape Room “Save the World”: taking place at The Art of Drinking Museum, participants are invited to find Julius Caesar’s chalice in order to save the world. The price is €20 per person (€18 for groups) and takes place on October 31 at 19h00, 21h30 and 23h00.
- “Porto dos Horrores” visit: Theatrical guided tours of the Porto Region Museum, taking place on October 31, November 1 and 2 at 7pm, 9.30pm and 11pm, with the same prices as above for the escape room.
- “Trick or treat” workshop: An activity designed with children in mind at the Chocolate Museum with very sweet Halloween recipes. The initiative costs €20 (or €22 with a visit to the Museum) and takes place between October 31 and November 3, among other activities.

Halloween Edition 2024 Dinner Show – Porto
As we want this article to include varied suggestions for all tastes and ages, how about a spicier plan? Magic Moments Restaurant & Dance Club is promoting a “Halloween Edition 2024 Dinner Show”, with lots of sensuality and burlesque thrown in.
In a special edition decorated to celebrate the date, suitable for couples, the ‘menu’ offers daring shows and creepy costumes. At the very least, a different way to experience the spookiest night of the year, in an atmosphere full of mystery and eroticism.

A trip on the ‘boat of terror’
Embark on “The Fear Cruise” for an unforgettable Halloween night on the Douro River.
The themed party, decorated to the nines, transforms the boat into a horror movie set from the 80s and 90s, with scary characters and live music with a DJ.
With capacity for 80 people, this event organized by Living Tours promises two hours of fun and chills.

“Steps in the Dark: Halloween Special”
Passos Manuel is a well-known name among all Porto residents, so this could be your destination for Halloween. After all, with the date in mind, the venue will be promoting a “Halloween Special – Evil Dead 2”, taking place on the night of October 31, starting at 22h00.
Directed by Sam Raimi in 1987, “Evil Dead 2” is an emblematic film that mixes comedy and horror, presenting a series of macabre and hilarious events. Before the screening, there will be a selection of vintage trailers restored by the American Genre Film Archive.

Halloween party in an amusement park
If a boat party isn’t your thing, don’t worry. There’s no shortage of Halloween plans in and around Porto for a big night out. In Matosinhos, at JumpYard you can ‘venture out’ at the ‘GhostYard Halloween Party’, on October 31, between 19h00 and 22h00.
There, you’ll experience three hours full of fun and, of course, scares with a ‘House of Horror’, special Halloween decorations and access to all the park’s activities (with the exception of the SkyRider). So get your friends together… and don’t forget to dress up.
