Forget the traditional chocolate Easter eggs . If burgers are your biggest “weakness,” get ready to dig in: The Champions Burger is about to “take over” the Queimódromo do Porto, in Porto City Park, from March 26 to April 12.
Following the success of the 2025 edition, which drew more than 100,000 visitors, the “world’s most viral food event”—as the initiative describes itself on social media—is back with a variety of food trucks, entertainment, and a leisure area featuring games, music, and much more.
Vote for the best burgers
The gourmet burger event retains the typical energy of a summer festival, but instead of stages, the focus is entirely on the grill. In this edition, several brands are competing for the title of “Best Burger in Porto.”
Mimo’s Smoke House, MBH Portugal, Gottam Grill, Street Food Burger, Godeo, and Tarantin Chiflado are just a few of the burger joints up for a vote. The best part? You can try the burgers and then choose your favorite using a QR code.
The winners of this stage in Porto will advance to the European final, where they will compete with representatives from other cities and countries for a true “place in the sun.”
What can you expect from this edition?
The Champions Burger maintains its distinctive hallmark: premium meats from certified sources, artisanal buns, ingredients selected based on quality and traceability criteria, and recipes that promise to surprise.
In addition to burgers, you’ll find a variety of desserts at the venue , such as ice cream from Locopolo and cookies from the Cookie Club. After Porto, the event heads to Lisbon, where it will take place from April 16 to May 3.
