The Andante network has something new. Since May 1, it has been possible to travel with the occasional ticket and/or pass on the Vouga Line, between the stations of Espinho-Vouga and Pinheiro da Bemposta (Oliveira de Azeméis).
The information, quoted by the Rádio Renascença website, was provided to Lusa by Transportes Metropolitanos do Porto (TMP) and CP – Comboios de Portugal. One of the aims of this measure is to put an end to any ‘discrimination’ between citizens within the municipalities that make up the Porto Metropolitan Area.
CP’s website reads as follows:
On this route [Espinho-Vouga and Pinheiro da Bemposta] occasional Andante journeys and Andante Metropolitano and Andante 3Z/Municipal passes are now valid and can be purchased from CP ticket offices selling Andante, from ticket machines or from Payshop agents.”
