We’re counting down to Primavera Sound Porto, from June 12 to 15, in Porto’s City Park. So, as a warm up, the spirit of musical celebration will extend outside the festival grounds with two free concerts.
On June 10 (Tuesday, a national holiday), the Auditorium of the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library, in the Crystal Palace Gardens, will host “Primavera na Galeria” with shows by Milan W. and Alan Sparhawk, starting at 5pm. This initiative serves as a warm-up for the 2025 edition of Primavera Sound Porto.
A brief look at the warm up
Milan Warmoeskerken, of Belgian origin, is the first to take the stage, at 5pm. Traditionally, the artist moves in the world of electronic music. However, in his latest work, under the pseudonym Milan W., he presents a different side, with guitars, saxophones and melancholic songs.
Next up is Alan Sparhawk, former lead singer of the iconic North American group Low, starting at 18:30. The artist is bringing his new album – “With Trampled by Turtles”, released at the end of May under the Sub Pop label. The musician will also be performing at Primavera Sound Porto, on June 12, on the Super Bock Stage.
How to take part in the event?
Although the Primavera Sound Porto warm-up is free, capacity is limited to the auditorium.
In this sense, it should be noted that free tickets will be available for collection (maximum two per person) at the Porto Municipal Gallery counter on June 10, from 11am.
